All media accreditations are issued by the Loulé City Council, the organizer of the MED 2026 Festival.
1. Accreditation for the 2026 MED Festival is granted to:
- Journalists representing regional, national or international Media Agency, upon presentation of a professional card;
- Freelancers with a professional card, upon presentation of the same;
- Freelancers without a professional card, upon presentation of a declaration from the a Media Agency and/or upon presentation of an explanatory text of the objectives of the work to be carried out at the MED Festival;
- Bloggers whose websites are considered by the organisation to be relevant for the promotion of world music.
2. Accreditation period
Applications for accreditation must be submitted by June 5th, 2026, using the following form:
Confirmation will be made via the email address provided by the MED Festival communication services, where all information will be sent, thus ensuring inclusion in the accreditation list.
3. Accreditation collection
Credentials must be picked up starting June 25th, 2026, at the designated MED Ticket Office, located next to the Municipal Market on Pedro de Freitas Street.

4. Accreditation user rights
- Accredited journalists will be able to move freely through the Festival's various public spaces, with the exception of backstage and other reserved areas.
- Journalists will only have access to the backstage after authorization from the organization.
- Journalists will have access to the Press Zone, located next to the Cerca Stage, where they can count on the support of communication services, namely obtaining documentation and contacting musicians and other event participants for possible interviews. A Wi-Fi network will be available in this space.
5. Obligations of the accreditation user
- Holders of accreditation may not give the pass to another person or use it to introduce non-accredited persons into the venue;
- The circulation of accreditation holders in reserved areas is expressly prohibited.
6. Image capture
- The organization will make available daily photos of the various initiatives of the MED Festival to interested parties.
- Accredited individuals must respect any limitations on photographic coverage imposed by the organisation's needs or artists' requirements;
- Accredited individuals may not make audio or video recordings without prior authorization from the organisation/artists.
NOTE: Loulé City Council, as the organising entity of the MED Festival, requests that after the event, the work on the Festival carried out by accredited journalists to be sent to the email rita.pina@cm-loule.pt. Failure to comply with this parameter may compromise the granting of accreditation in future editions of the event.
