AWARDS

The Municipality of Loulé, the organiser of the Festival MED, has already been recognised and awarded several times for the work carried out in the area of events, in particular with regard to the Festival MED. This event has received, since the first edition of the Iberian Festival Awards, in 2016, 50 nominations, having won the following awards:

• Best Medium-sized Festival in the Iberian Peninsula (2017 and 2018);
• Best Tourist Promotion at national level  (2018 and 2020) and Iberian (2023 and 2024);
• Contribution to Sustainability in the Iberian Peninsula (2019);
• Best Lusophone and Hispanic Festival in the Iberian Peninsula (2020 and 2023).
