It is a World Music festival that establishes itself as a European reference, with a distinctive concept and a strong identity that made it gain high international notoriety. Annually, at the end of June, the Historic Area of Loulé is not only invaded by sounds from different parts of the world but also by colours, flavours and odours that reflect the cultural diversity, which is the hallmark of the event.
In addition to a musical lineup that brings to Portugal the best artists in the so-called world music industry, this festival also involves a mix of cultural manifestations ranging from food to visual arts, street entertainment, handicrafts, dance, theatre, cinema, poetry, workshops and much more, with an evident objective of spreading interculturality and promoting the union of peoples and tolerance.
