Just listening to the voice that sings "Allan Guiné", the opening track of "Family", the album released in 2022, is enough to understand that Eneida Marta is a special artist, that her soul possesses an unusual depth, and that her distinct timbre can balance lament and hope in the same word, in the same breath.

Born in Guinea-Bissau, just before the former Portuguese colony declared its independence, Eneida Marta's career reflects this auspicious time. It makes sense, therefore, that she sings about freedom, love and the truly important things in life. Her journey includes several full-length albums, including "Ibra" (2019) and "Nha Sonhu" (2015). These albums mark the path that brought Eneida to the present, leading her to grace stages from Madrid and Barcelona to Amsterdam and Vancouver, from Rome and Budapest to Mexico City, Boston, London and Bern. In each of these places, she receives the same emotional applause from those who encounter a voice filled with soul, dreams, pain and joy. 

For her performance at the Festival MED, Eneida brings a special guest: Huca, an artist born in Mozambique who studied theater in Lisbon and made waves in 2021 with his appearance on The Voice. This year, he paid a heartfelt tribute to Sara Tavares at the RTP Festival da Canção with "Pé de Choro", showcasing his profound originality.

The collaboration between Eneida and Huca promises to create an absolutely memorable musical experience, with Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique as starting points for a journey that everyone will want to embark on.
