Moonshiners FEAT.
Samuel Uria

(PT)

After a decade since they presented themselves to the public with an eponymous EP inspired by the country and blues-rock imagery of deep America, Moonshiners returned with Bootlegs, which also starts a new phase in the long journey of this band from Aveiro, now with a new formation, because in addition to the initial trio, formed by Gamblin' Sam (vocals and harmonica), Susie Filipe (drums) and Vítor Hugo (vocals and guitar), the new album also had the participation of old tour partners Bruno Eurico (bass), Gabriel Neves (saxophone) and Carlos Lázaro (keyboards). In the meantime, they also edited Good News For Girl Who Have No Sex Appeal (2015) and Prohibition Edition (2018), which earned them the presence on several international stages, such as the Eurosonic festival, being one of the 21 Portuguese bands chosen for the 2017 edition. In this concert at the Festival MED, in addition to presenting their “songs for sensitive men and tough women”, as they once called them, they will be accompanied on stage by a very special guest, Samuel Úria.
