Stereossauro invites Ana Lua Caiano and Pedro Jóia

(PT)

On the 25th of April, Stereossauro put on one of the most ambitious shows to commemorate the Carnation Revolution - in a Coimbra square packed with souls - and, together with DJ Ride, his partner in the Beatbombers adventure and with whom he has been scratchchampion several times, signed a heartfelt tribute to the master Carlos Paredes with the EP ‘Quatro Paredes’.

Ever since he showed the world his version of the Portuguese guitar master's ‘Verdes Anos’, Stereossauro has been tirelessly building bridges between the universes of hip-hop and fado. He has recorded with Carlos do Carmo and Camané, with Ana Moura and António Chainho, with Paulo de Carvalho and Gisela João, sampled Amália Rodrigues, but has also worked with people like the Legendary Tigerman or Pedro Jóia, always in search of the deepest Portuguese roots. In the show he will be bringing to MED, he has invited two special guests to the stage: the great revelation Ana Lua Caiano and the guitarist who best understands what links fado (or jazz) to flamenco, the aforementioned Pedro Jóia. Together, Stereossauro, Ana Lua and Pedro promise an exciting journey into the depths of our collective soul. With a party rhythm and meaningful words.
