While Mediterranean flavours are one of the attractions of this event, the proposal is much broader and it is possible to find the best flavours from the four corners of the world here, since gastronomy, an inseparable element of each country's culture and identity, continues to be one of the main highlights of this festival.

In addition to traditional Portuguese cuisine, MED also has a number of restaurants dedicated to the traditional flavours of countries such as Spain, Greece, Morocco, Egypt, Brazil, Angola and Italy.
