At the age of 18, Delfina Cheb earned a scholarship to pursue a dual degree in Jazz Composition and Vocal Performance at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Immersed in Berklee's vibrant musical ecosystem, Cheb delved into jazz and the folk traditions of South America, North America and the Balkans, broadening her artistic horizons.

Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Cheb furthered her academic journey at the New England Conservatory, where she earned a Master of Contemporary Music Arts. Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree at the conservatory, continuing her research on Tango and South American music, solidifying her position as a scholar and innovator in these genres.

Cheb's commitment to music extends beyond performance and academia. As an educator, she has conducted composition workshops in several communities in the Boston area. Through this activist work, Cheb uses music as a tool for healing and connection. In addition to her educational contributions, Cheb has made significant strides as a performer. She has recorded two Tango albums in Argentina with renowned Spanish producer Javier Limón. Over the past four years, she has presented these works in Europe and Argentina, captivating audiences with her fresh performances and deep connection to Tango tradition.
