It is a World Music festival that establishes itself as a European reference, with a distinctive concept and a strong identity that made it gain high international notoriety. Annually, at the end of June, the Historic Area of Loulé is not only invaded by sounds from different parts of the world but also by colours, flavours and odours that reflect the cultural diversity, which is the hallmark of the event.

Para além de um alinhamento musical que traz a Portugal os melhores nomes da chamada indústria das músicas do mundo, este festival passa também por uma fusão de manifestações culturais que vão desde a gastronomia às artes plásticas, artes de rua, artesanato, dança, cinema, poesia, workshops e muito mais, com um claro objetivo de divulgar a interculturalidade e de promover a união dos povos e a tolerância.
