Assim, promover e revitalizar a Zona Hist\u00f3rica da cidade, numa perspetiva de dinamiza\u00e7\u00e3o cultural e, simultaneamente, de divulga\u00e7\u00e3o da cultura dos pa\u00edses da Bacia do Mediterr\u00e2neo, e da imagem tur\u00edstica em tempo de ver\u00e3o constitu\u00edram, em termos gerais, os objetivos da sua realiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Do Mediterr\u00e2neo partiu-se para uma escala global, alargando-se o conceito \u00e0 m\u00fasica e culturas do mundo. Ao longo de 20 edi\u00e7\u00f5es, o Festival MED foi-se consolidando como evento-\u00e2ncora no contexto regional, nacional e europeu.
